(1) A Statistical Advisory Council exists at the Federal Statistical Office, which advises it on specialist statistical questions and represents the interests of the users of federal statistics.
(2) The Statistical Advisory Council adopts rules of procedure. These require the approval of the Federal Ministry of the Interior, Building and Community in agreement with the federal ministries.
