Administrative authority within the meaning of the Act on Regulatory Offences (OWiG)

The administrative authority within the meaning of section 36(1) of the Act on Regulatory Offences is the Federal Statistical Office, insofar as it 1. prepares federal statistics under section 3(1) number 1 in conjunction with section 6(1), or 2. collects federal statistics under section 3(1) number 5, also in conjunction with section 5(2), (2a) and section 6(1), or 3. processes them under this or another federal statute. The same applies insofar as the Federal Statistical Office has corresponding functions in conducting the surveys under section 18.
