Section 42

Notification by Domestic Public Bodies to the Financial Intelligence Unit

(1) In criminal proceedings in which the Financial Intelligence Unit has forwarded information, the competent public prosecutor's office shall inform the Financial Intelligence Unit of the bringing of a public prosecution and the outcome of the proceedings, including any decisions to discontinue proceedings. Notification shall be made by transmitting a copy of the indictment, the reasoned decision to discontinue, or the judgment.
(2) Where the Financial Intelligence Unit forwards information to other domestic public bodies, the receiving body shall notify the Financial Intelligence Unit of the ultimate use made of the information provided and of the results of measures taken on the basis of that information, insofar as other statutory provisions do not preclude notification. Section 30(1) of the Fiscal Code does not preclude this.
