(1) The register-keeping body shall transmit the necessary information from the Transparency Register to:
1. the Financial Intelligence Unit, for purposes under section 28(1), third sentence, nos. 2, 4 and 8,
2. the law enforcement authorities, for the performance of their tasks,
3. the supervisory authorities, insofar as this is necessary in the individual case for the performance of their tasks under section 51,
4. the Federal Central Tax Office and the local tax authorities under section 6(2), no. 5 of the Fiscal Code, insofar as this is necessary in the individual case for the performance of their respective tasks,
5. the domestic intelligence services of the Federation and the Länder, insofar as this is necessary in the individual case for the performance of their tasks,
6. the Customs Criminal Investigation Office, insofar as this is necessary in the individual case for the performance of its tasks under section 4(2) and (3) of the Customs Investigation Service Act,
7. the authorities competent under section 13 of the Foreign Trade and Payments Act, insofar as this is necessary in the individual case for the performance of their tasks,
8. the Federal Intelligence Service, insofar as this is necessary
a) to provide the Federal Government with political information, where the information can yield information about foreign countries that is of foreign- and security-policy significance for the Federal Republic of Germany and the Federal Chancellery has instructed the Federal Intelligence Service to investigate the matter, or
b) for the early detection of dangers of international significance threatening from abroad, where the information can yield findings relevant to the areas of danger referred to in section 4(3), no. 1 of the BND Act, or to the protection of the legal interests referred to in section 4(3), nos. 2 and 3 of the BND Act, and
9. the Central Office for Sanctions Enforcement, insofar as this is necessary in the individual case for the performance of its tasks.
(2) Transmission shall take place by way of automated retrieval. The register-keeping body shall establish, for enquiries under subsection (1), an automated access to the data stored in the Transparency Register, designed in accordance with the specifications of the register-keeping body, which shall also permit searches for
1. beneficial owners of an association under section 20 or a legal arrangement under section 21, by reference to the particulars "surname" and "first name" together with "date of birth", "place of residence" or "nationality" of the beneficial owner, or
2. real property, by reference to all particulars under section 19a. Section 23 remains unaffected.
(3) The bodies involved shall ensure that, for enquiries under subsection (1), measures corresponding to the state of the art are taken to ensure data protection and data security, in particular the confidentiality and integrity of the data.
