Right to rectification

(1) The data subject's right to rectification and completion under Article 16 of Regulation (EU) 2016/679 does not exist where and insofar as fulfilling the data subject's rights would endanger the proper performance of the tasks within the BSI's competence, and the data subject's interest in exercising those rights must therefore give way.
(2) In the cases of subsection (1), the data subject has a claim to have a counter-statement attached to the data for the duration of the processing, insofar as necessary for fair and transparent processing.
