Portraits may be disseminated or publicly displayed only with the consent of the person portrayed. In case of doubt, consent is deemed to have been given where the person portrayed received payment for allowing themselves to be portrayed. After the death of the person portrayed, the consent of the deceased's relatives is required for a period of ten years. For the purposes of this Act, "relatives" means the surviving spouse or registered life partner and the children of the person portrayed and, where there is neither a spouse or registered life partner nor children, the parents of the person portrayed.
